How Gratuity is Calculated

For employees covered under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, the formula is:

Gratuity = (15 * Last Drawn Salary * Working Tenure) / 26

Note: Tenure of more than 6 months is rounded up to the next year (e.g., 5 years 7 months becomes 6 years).
